The following are the examples of basic first aid procedures:
1)For cuts and wounds – Clean the area, stop bleeding, cover with a sterile bandage.
2)For burns – Cool the burn with running water, cover with a clean cloth, avoid using ice.
3)For sprains – Use the R.I.C.E. method (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation).
4)For nosebleeds – Lean the person forward, pinch the nose, apply cold compress.
5)For fainting – Lay the person flat, elevate the legs, ensure fresh air.
